SARASOTA, Florida: The Gail Baird Foundation gave $10,000 to the V Foundation through their twelfth Annual Dick Vitale Gala, joining many allies in gathering their raising support objective. The occasion, held May 12 at The Ritz Carlton Sarasota, raised 3.12 million dollars for pediatric disease research.
Consistently, a few games and diversion superstars go to the Gala on the side of their central goal to kill kids' diseases. Assets from the current year's occasion will add to the Not a Moment to Lose crusade, which is deliberately centred around arising, high-sway research openings.
"The broad work and exploration being done through the V Foundation reflect our establishment's obligation to fight disease," said Eric Baird, leader of the Gail Baird Foundation. "We are glad to be a piece of a particularly significant occasion to carry attention to pediatric malignant growth and the families that it has influenced."
The current year's elite player Gala honorees included ESPN Hall of Fame Sportscaster Chris Berman, West Virginia University Head Men's Basketball Coach Bob Huggins, and University of Notre Dame Head Football Coach Brian Kelly.
