Neighbourhood finance manager and land financial backer Eric Baird has bought Hotel Ranola, a shop lodging in midtown Sarasota with 27 units. Underlying 1926, the residence at 118 Indian Place first took into account seasonal travellers looking for a break from unforgiving Northern winters. 

"Today, Hotel Ranola bids to modern relaxation and business voyagers looking for a remarkably Sarasota experience," says Baird, leader of Baird Ventures. "We intend to keep up Hotel Ranola's customary appeal while improving its general allure." 

Baird Ventures obtained the lodging in January for $2.9 million. Situated in the core of downtown, Hotel Ranola is helpful to an assortment of Sarasota attractions, including cinemas, shops, performing expressions, spas, nightlife, many cafés and the Sarasota bayfront. It's four miles from Lido Key Beach and The Ringling. 

The inn, which has three workers, offers open rooms with the metropolitan stylistic theme, full kitchens, and stroll in storerooms. Conveniences incorporate a housetop sundeck.
